Energy infrastructure is critical to the smooth functioning of society and its economic well-being. A variety of sensors and monitoring instrumentations deployed within large engines and energy infrastructure are creating big data sets that are hard to transmit and analyze. Even small improvements in prediction accuracy can lead to savings of tens of billions of dollars within the energy industry itself, not to mention the external impact. Through collaboration with important partners such as General Electric and Siemens, we plan to contribute to the development of industrial internet and energy monitoring services.
